Aims and objectives of the Organization

1)     To work for the social uplift of the underprivileged and neglected communities through education on community development, and capacity building of community leaders.

2)     To work on non formal education, formal education and vocational education in the poor and neglected communities by establishing community schools.  

3)     To establish community libraries for reading purposes of members on different issues for empowering communities and public awareness raising.  

4)     To participate in national and international forums and seminars to advocate our objectives and mission of the organization  

5)     To organize workshop, exhibitions, lecturers, meetings, seminars, training courses, exchange programs to further the objectives of the society to promote art, culture and social development.  

6)     To organize programs on interactive theaters on social issues to educate the pubic as well as pubic awareness promotion.  

7)     To collect data, information and other relevant publication, and carry out survey, research project, studies, networking to establish a data bank on socio-political, art and cultural issues such as fundamental civil rights, tolerance, structure and function of democracy, women’s rights, education policy, preventive health care measures.

8)     To remain vigilant to work for the relief and rehabilitation work during emergency situations caused by natural and man-made disasters.

9)     To conduct, carryout, supervise or support research, participatory or otherwise, in the field of development, social studies, social issues, health, education and other related fields of human development and human welfare and other related fields.  

10) To publish articles, research reports, workshop material, handouts, leaflets, newsletters, pamphlets, bulletin, books, audio or video recording or any other medium of transcribing information on the issues pertaining to aims and activities of society.

11) To accept grants from any governments, agencies, authorities, public bodies, corporations, companies or person, of money, moveable and immoveable property, donations, gifts, subscriptions, bequests and other assistance, with a view to promoting the objectives of the society. 

12) To establish networking and supportive relationships with the organizations and agencies having similar objectives for joint ventures and programs.
